Carl Römer (politician)

Carl August Römer (born October 25, 1836 in Alzey , † March 29, 1904 in Wiesbaden ) was a German landowner, Hessian politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Carl Römer was the son of the landowner Johann August Römer (1767–1857) and his second wife Charlotte, née Fries (1805–1863). Roman, who was a Protestant, was a landowner in Alzey and married Katharina Magdalena Therese nee Petri (1850–1880) in 1870 and her second marriage in 1885 to Josephine nee Böhme (1860–1912).

From 1883 to 1899 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 2 / Alzey .
