Carl de Ahna

Carl de Ahna (born December 13, 1847 in Meiningen , † September 11, 1906 in Arnstadt ) was a German physician and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

De Ahna and attended the Bernhardinum high school in Meiningen and studied medicine at the universities of Heidelberg , Berlin , Marburg and Würzburg . In 1868 he became a member of the Frankonia Heidelberg fraternity . In the Franco-Prussian War of 1870–1871 , he participated as a volunteer nurse. After passing the state examination in Würzburg, he was a one-year-old volunteer doctor in 1874/75 and a general practitioner in Arnstadt from June 29, 1875 , where he had also been a member of the municipal council since 1882.

From 1887 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Schwarzburg-Sondershausen 1 ( Sondershausen , Arnstadt , Gehren , Ebeleben ). He was an independent liberal and did not join any parliamentary group in the Reichstag.

In 1892 he became chief physician and head of the municipal hospital in Arnstadt. He was a secret medical councilor and captain of the reserve as well as a royal Bavarian medical officer .
