Carl von Funck

Carl Hans Ernst Freiherr von Funck (born August 12, 1881 in Altenburg , Thuringia , † December 29, 1963 in Fritzlar ) was a German administrative officer and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

Carl was born as the son of later Lieutenant General Karl von Funck .

He entered the Prussian administrative service. In September 1918, he was now the Government ascended from the regional council in Arnsberg as the successor of Reinhard Miter as acting district administrator of the district Homberg to Homberg (Efze) in Northern Hesse added. This appointment became final in 1919, and Funck held that office until 1932.

With the merger of the circle Homberg with the county Fritzlar for county Fritzlar-Homberg in the course of administrative reform in Prussia, he was born on October 1, 1932 District Administrator of the new district, which was renamed the county Fritzlar-Homberg on 1 January 1939th He held this office until 1945. He then lived in Zwesten Castle until 1952 .

For the DNVP he was from 1919 to 1920 a member of the municipal parliament of Kassel and the provincial parliament of the province of Hessen-Nassau .

He died on December 29, 1963 in Fritzlar.
