The Carla Ridge is a street in the residential area Trousdale Estates of Beverly Hills . It begins in the south on Schuyler Road and ends in the north just after the junction with Walker Drive as a dead end .
Famous residents
Actress Joanne Dru (1922-1996) lived in one of the first houses on the street in the 1990s under number 1455 . In the further section of the street - between Carla Lane and Usher Place - first the actress Rhonda Fleming (* 1923) lived under number 1476 in the 1970s and then the musician Ray Charles (1930-2004) until 1985. On the property number 1479 resided in the 1990s the actor Harvey Fierstein (* 1952) and under number 1492 in the 1980s the actress Florence Henderson (* 1934).
In the next section of the street - between Usher Place and Haynes Avenue - the director Henry King (1886-1982) lived under number 1525 until the completion of his last film The Night Tender , which was produced in 1962. Revenge murder in jealousy drama
Immediately in front of the property with the number 1860, which was long owned by the film producer Fuminori Hayashida ( Basils Liebe ), his 21-year-old son Katsutoshi Takazato was murdered in a jealous drama on July 20, 2010. The alleged murderer was 23-year-old Scott Joseph Barker, whose girlfriend Chie Alexandra Coggins Johnson (20) had previously had a relationship with Takazato and who, according to her own statements, was abused by Takazato. In revenge, Barker is said to have ambushed and murdered Takazato in front of the entrance to his father's villa.
