Carlos Alexandre de Souza Silva , short name Carlão , (born August 1, 1986 in Duque de Caxias ) is a Brazilian soccer player who currently plays in the Thai League, the Thai League , for Samut Prakan City FC .

Career

The first stop of his career was São Cristóvão FR from Rio de Janeiro , Brazil in 2008 . In the same year he was loaned to Duque de Caxias FC . In 2009 he moved to Europe . In Portugal he signed a contract with União Leiria . Here he scored 25 goals in 54 games. In 2011 he moved on to Asia . Here he signed a contract with the Kashima Antlers in Japan . He scored one goal in five games for the Kashima Antlers. In 2011 it went on loan in Switzerland to the first division club Neuchâtel Xamax FCS and from there after two games to Portugal in the Primeira Liga at Sporting Braga . Here he played until 2013. During his time at Sporting Braga, he made 26 games and scored four goals. In 2013/2014 he played eight times for the Portuguese club FC Paços de Ferreira . In 2014 he went back to Asia. Here he signed a contract with Shijiazhuang Ever Bright FC in China League One in the People's Republic of China . Here he made 30 games by 2015. In 2016 he signed a two-year contract with FC Famalicão in the Segunda Liga . Here he scored eight times in 27 games. In mid-2017 he went back to Asia to join the second division Ubon UMT United. Here he scored six goals in 16 games and rose to the Thai League . In 2018 I went back to Europe.
