Carol Royle
Carol Royle (born February 10, 1954 in Blackpool , Lancashire , England ) is a British actress .
Life
Royle grew up as the daughter of actor Derek Royle and makeup artist Jane Royle , her younger sister is actress Amanda Royle . She was educated at the Central School of Speech and Drama between 1973 and 1976 .
She began her film and television career in 1978 with guest roles on the British television series Blake's 7 and The Professionals . In the same year she made her screen debut with a small supporting role in the film drama The Great Greek at the side of Anthony Quinn and Jacqueline Bisset . Familiarity with the British television audience she gained by the role of Jenny Russell in the BBC - Sitcom Life Without George , which aired between 1987 and 1989. She played recurring guest roles as Lady Patricia Brewster in the ITV series Heartbeat and as Victoria Payne in the soap opera Doctors .
Royle has been married to Julian Spear since 1977, and the marriage had two children.
