action

Caroline, a young, bright, open-minded and fun-loving manicurist in the Parisian Salon des Champs-Elysées, is engaged to a boy of her age, to Maxime, but he just turns out to be a disappointment again. However, their customers include many admirers aged 40 and over. Caroline finally accepts the invitation from two interesting gentlemen, a lawyer and a gentleman named Bénéchol. But for Caroline it will soon be difficult, as the men with the gray temples are mostly married and so she prefers the company of Dr. Oesterlin, a far more charming man. But even this is too inconsistent for her in the end and so Caroline finally returns to her fiancé after various affairs and love affairs.

Reviews

“A young Parisian manicurist, annoyed by her boyfriend, seeks connection with men over forty. After many experiences, she returns to her boyfriend disappointed. Over-the-top comedy of only moderate wit. "

"With a light, artistically not always sure hand, teaching that for a young girl to love a man of her generation is more correct than the dream of living with a well-to-do gentleman of a more mature age. Despite the formal objections, a film that is quite digestible from the age of 16. "
