Carsten Rocker
Carsten Rocker (born July 28, 1969 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German composer , film composer and film producer .
Life
Born in Wilhelmshaven, Carsten Rocker spent his youth in Jever , Frisia , until he began studying music at the University of Oldenburg in the early 1990s . In the mid-1990s he spent some time in the USA, studying film music, composition and conducting at California State University , assisted in various Hollywood productions and composed music for short films. In 1999 he returned to Germany to work as a freelance composer for film and advertising, music producer and music consultant in Cologne. In addition to his work as a composer, he also fulfills various teaching positions at various institutes, for example the Hamburg Media School , the University of Oldenburg , the Filmhaus Köln or the Eyes & Ears Academy. Since 2015 he has also worked as a producer of feature films.
