Caspar Ferdinand Josef Freusberg (born August 16, 1764 at Bilstein Castle , † February 25, 1837 in Olpe ) was district administrator of the Bilstein district and later of the Olpe district .

Freusberg studied at the Electoral Cologne Academy in Bonn and in Heidelberg . Then he entered the service of the Duchy of Westphalia . From 1793 he was a judge and domain official in Bilstein. In 1796 he married Maria Sophia Engelbertine Biegeleben from Arnsberg . The marriage resulted in ten children, including the sons Joseph , later Auxiliary Bishop in Paderborn , and Adolf , District Administrator of the Olpe district. Even under the rule of Hesse-Darmstadt , he remained as a bailiff in the public service.

After the formation of the Prussian district of Bilstein, Freusberg became its first district administrator on April 1, 1817. Even after the district headquarters were relocated to Olpe, he remained in office until he retired for reasons of age in 1836. From 1828 to 1831 he was a member of the state parishes in the constituency of the Duchy of Westphalia for the districts of Wittgenstein, Siegen and Olpe in the provincial parliament of the province of Westphalia .
