Horst Limper

Horst Limper (born August 8, 1924 in Welschen Ennest ; † July 15, 1984 in Elspe ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school and doing military service as well as being a prisoner of war in France, he completed a banking apprenticeship from 1947 to 1948 and worked as a self-employed businessman from 1949 . Limper was the owner of a wine shop.

He was married and had five children.

MP

He was a member of the district council of the Olpe district from March 19, 1961 until his death on July 15, 1984. From 1952-1961 limper was a member of the municipal council of the municipality Rahrbach .

Public offices

From April 28, 1971 to July 15, 1984 he was district administrator of the Olpe district.

Limper was active in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Others

On June 29, 1981 Limper was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class. He also received numerous other decorations, such as B. the golden signet ring of the district of Olpe. He was chairman of the local political association of the CDU in the Olpe district.

The former youth education center in Benolpe , the Horst Limper House, was named after him.
