Hanspeter Klein

Hanspeter Klein (born November 26, 1939 in Dortmund ) is a German local politician and was an honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, Klein studied at the Technical University of Munich. In 1966 he passed the engineering degree (TU) exam. He then worked in an engineering office for construction planning and construction consulting. He has been a freelance consultant engineer since 1968.

He is married and has two children.

politics

Klein has been a member of the CDU since 1962. As the founding chairman of the CDU Elspetal, he chaired this local association from 1967 to 1971. As the founding chairman of the CDU Lennestadt, he chaired this local association from 1969 to 1981. From November 9, 1969 to 1999, Klein was a member of the district council of the Olpe district . From 19 February 1987 to 30 September 1999, he was a member of the Regional Assembly of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe . He was chairman of the CDU Local Political Association in the Olpe district and was a member of the state board of the CDU Local Political Association in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1983 to 1987.

Offices

From September 30, 1984 to September 30, 1999 he was district administrator for the district of Olpe. He was the last honorary district administrator in the district. Klein was active in various committees of the district assembly of North Rhine-Westphalia . Klein has been a member of the Ingenieurkammer-Bau NRW since it was founded. Since 1987 he has been a member of the Association of German Builders, Architects and Engineers e. V. From 2000 to 2008, Klein was Vice President of the Federal Chamber of Engineers. V. 2001 to 2005 he was a member of the AHO Committee of the Associations and Chambers of Engineers and Architects for the Fee Regulations eV 2008 to 2012 he was Vice President of the Federal Association of Independent Professions. V. Since 2006 he has been chairman of the Association of Freer Professions in the State of North Rhine-Westphalia e. V. From 2010 to 2016 he was a member of the WDR Broadcasting Council. Since 1975 he has been a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers VBI.

Honors

  • On November 12, 1984 Klein received the Olpe district signet ring.
  • He was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit in 1992 and the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class in 2004.
  • He was honored with the Freiherr vom Stein medal in silver by the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe.
