Catrin Vogt (* 20th century ) is a German film editor .

life and work

Catrin Vogt was initially trained as a film and video laboratory assistant at the Atlantik-Filmkopierwerk in Hamburg . From 1996 to 2003 she studied assembly at what is now the Babelsberg Film University , then still called HFF Potsdam-Babelsberg. Since then she has worked as a freelance editor of which primarily on the intersection of documentaries specialized.

Vogt received the Pearl award at the Lünen Kinofest in 2012 as the documentary film editor of Vergiss mein nicht , directed by David Sieveking . In 2013 she was nominated for the editing award for Vergiss mein nicht at the Filmplus Festival in Cologne .

Catrin Vogt is a member of the German Film Academy and the Federal Association of Film Editing Editor eV (BFS) .
