Celine Michielsen (born May 22, 1994 in Breda ) is a Dutch handball player who is under contract with the German first division club HSG Blomberg-Lippe .

Life

Celine Michielsen comes from a handball-loving family. Her father Fred Michielsen is a coach at DFS Arnhem, her brother Pepijn is a player at Hellas Den Haag and her younger sister Renske is part of the HandbaL Venlo team .

Michielsen played for Handbal Breda when she was a child, before moving to Internos at the age of eleven, where her father was a coach at the time. Together with him she moved to HV Nieuwegein in 2009 and three years later to Hellas Den Haag . From 2010 to 2014 she was trained at the Dutch HandbalAcademie .

Michielsen has been playing in the women's handball league since 2014, initially with DJK / MJC Trier , from 2015 to 2017 with TusSies Metzingen and since the 2017/18 season in Blomberg. In addition to handball, Michielsen works as a sports teacher at the Hermann Vöchting Gymnasium in Blomberg. From the 2020/21 season, she will play for the Dutch club HV Quintus .
