Isabelle Jongenelen (born July 28, 1991 in Breda ) is a Dutch handball player .

Career

Isabelle Jongenelen played in the Netherlands from 2008 to 2011 with Van der Voort / Quintus and then with Sercodak Dalfsen, with whom she won the championship in 2012. In the 2012/13 season, the 1.79 meter tall backcourt player ran for the French first division club Union Mios-Biganos-Bègles. In 2013 she went to the German handball league at HSG Blomberg-Lippe . In summer 2014 she moved to SG BBM Bietigheim . During the winter break of the 2015/16 season, Jongenelen joined the French club Nantes Loire Atlantique , which they left again at the end of the season. She then joined the German Bundesliga club VfL Oldenburg . With Oldenburg, she won the DHB Cup in 2018 . In summer 2019 she returned to HSG Blomberg-Lippe.

Jongenelen was part of the Dutch national team's expanded squad for the 2013 World Cup in Serbia .
