Myrthe Schoenaker (born June 1, 1992 in Olst ) is a Dutch handball player who is under contract with the German first division club HSG Blomberg-Lippe .

Career

Myrthe Schoenaker started playing handball at the age of six in her hometown at SC Overwetering. Then she ran for Kwiek Raalte. In 2011 the backcourt player SERCODAK Dalfsen joined. With Dalfsen, she won both the Dutch Championship and the Dutch Cup in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. In 2015 she signed a contract with the German Bundesliga club Füchse Berlin . After Berlin withdrew its team from the Bundesliga at the end of the 2015/16 season, they moved to the Danish club København Håndbold . With København Håndbold she won the Danish championship in 2018. From summer 2018 she was under contract with the German club VfL Oldenburg . For the 2020/21 season she joined the league competitor HSG Blomberg-Lippe .

Myrthe Schoenaker was a member of the Dutch national junior team, with which she won third place at the 2010 U-18 handball world championship for women and second place at the 2011 U-19 European handball championship for women . For the Dutch women's national team , she has played 13 internationals so far, in which she scored 19.
