Chémery-sur-Bar is a village and a former French commune with 457 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It belonged to the Sedan and the Canton of Vouziers .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Chémery-sur-Bar and Chéhéry were merged into a Commune nouvelle called Chémery-Chéhéry and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Chémery-sur-Bar.

Neighboring towns are Omicourt in the northwest, Chéhéry in the north, Bulson in the northeast, Maisoncelle-et-Villers in the southeast, La Neuville-à-Maire in the south and Vendresse in the southwest.
