Chaetomin , also known as chetomin , is - chemically speaking - a complex heterocyclic compound.
Mold of the genus Chaetomium
It is a mycotoxin (mold toxin) that is produced as a metabolic product of fungi of the genus Chaetomium . It shows an antibiotic effect on gram-positive bacteria.
