Champignolles is a village and a former French municipality with 38 inhabitants (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Eure in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Bernay and the canton of Breteuil (until 2015 Rugles ). The inhabitants are called Champignollais .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of La Vieille-Lyre and Champignolles were merged to form the Commune nouvelle La Vieille-Lyre of the same name and have the status of a Commune déléguée there . The administrative headquarters are in La Vieille-Lyre.
geography
Champignolles is located about 28 kilometers west-southwest of Évreux on the Risle , which borders the Commune déléguée in the west and north. Champignolles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mesnil-en-Ouche in the north and west, La Ferrière-sur-Risle in the northeast and Le Fidelaire in the east and the previous La Vieille-Lyre in the south and southwest.
