The Changan Raeton is a limousine built between 2013 and 2019 by the Chinese car manufacturer Chongqing Changan Automobile Company of the Changan brand .
history
The vehicle made its debut as the CD101 concept vehicle at the Shanghai Auto Show 2009, and Changan showed the production vehicle at the Beijing Auto Show 2012. Production started in Fangshan on December 1, 2012, and the Raeton went on sale on April 16, 2013. The vehicle is based on the sixth generation of the Toyota Camry . In contrast to the Russian or South American market, the vehicle is not offered on the German market.
Technical specifications
At the start of the market, there were initially two gasoline engines to choose from. In 2017 they were replaced by a supercharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine.
