The Changan CS35 is the first SUV of Chinese automaker Changan Automobile brand Changan . The vehicle made its debut as the Changan SUV concept vehicle at the 2011 International Motor Show in Frankfurt am Main , the series vehicle was presented at the Beijing Motor Show in April 2012 and was launched on October 30, 2012 in China. The CS35 is based on the Changan Eado sedan . In contrast to the Russian or Chilean market, the vehicle is not offered on the German market. A facelift for the CS35 appeared in early 2018.
The Changan Oshan Kosai 5 introduced in summer 2019 is almost identical to the CS35. A year later it received a facelift.
At the market launch, the vehicle was available with a 1.6-liter petrol engine , followed in autumn 2014 by a 115 kW (156 hp) supercharged 1.5-liter petrol engine.
