Charles Loewen

Sir Charles Falkland Loewen , GCB , KBE , DSO (born September 17, 1900 in Vancouver , British Columbia , Canada , † August 17, 1986 in London ) was a British general in the British Army , who between 1953 and 1956 was commander-in-chief of the land forces in the distance East and most recently from 1956 to 1959 Adjutant General of the Army in the War Ministry.

Life

Officer training and World War II

Charles Falkland Loewen began after the 1916 school officer training at the Royal Military College of Canada and was named after its completion in 1918 as a lieutenant (Second Lieutenant) in the Royal Field Artillery taken.
