Charles Arthur Joseph Christophe Juchault des Jamonières (born April 18, 1902 in Le Cellier , † August 16, 1970 in Saint-Herblain ) was a French sports marksman .

In 1967 he was awarded the title of baron .

Charles des Jamonières took part in the Olympic Games three times . At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin , he did not finish the competition with the rapid-fire pistol, but took third place behind Torsten Ullman and Erich Krempel with the free pistol with 540 points and thus won the bronze medal. In 1948 he took tenth place in London with the rapid fire pistol. In Melbourne in 1956 he did not get past 20th with the free pistol and 27th with the rapid fire pistol.

At world championships des Jamonières secured ten medals between 1925 and 1933. With the free pistol he first won bronze in the team competition in St. Gallen in 1925 , before he also came third in the individual in Rome in 1927 . Three years later he improved to second place in the individual in Loosduinen , while he won bronze again with the team. In 1929 he reached the bronze rank with the team for the third time in Stockholm . In 1930 he was finally in Antwerp with her for the first time vice world champion and repeated this success both in 1931 in Lwów and 1933 in Granada . In 1933 he also took second place in the individual with the Free Pistol. With the rapid fire pistol, however, he won his first and only world title.
