Chasing safety

Chasing Safety is a post-hardcore band from New Jersey , United States, founded in 2008 under the name Us, From Outside . The group released two albums under this band name on Tragic Hero Records in 2010 and 2011 , before the band changed their name to Chasing Safety and moved to Outerloop Records two years later .

history

In 2008, Chasing Safety was founded in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania under the name Us, From Outside . The group signed their first recording deal with Tragic Hero Records and released their two albums, Inspired by the Threat of Failure in 2010 and Revived a year later on this label.

The group toured the United States with Broadway, playing six concerts with Fit for a King on their The American Nightmare Tour and with Palisades on The Revived Tour .

After several line-up changes, the group changed its name to Chasing Safety and moved to New Jersey . The group, which currently consists of the singer Johnny Galivan, the bassist Kenny Davis, the two guitarists Patrick Hall and Derek Williams and the drummer Luke Genocide, also changed their record label. Chasing Safety signed with Outerloop Records - a joint venture between Fearless Records and Outerloop Management - and released their album Season of the Dead in October 2014 , produced by Dan Korneff . At the beginning of 2017, the successor album, Nomad, followed , which was again produced by Korneff.

The group toured on concert tours in support of I Prevail and Vampires Everywhere! .

style

Chasing Safety plays a melodic variant of post-hardcore , which is comparable to Underoath and Beartooth .
