I Prevail is a company incorporated in 2013 post-hardcore - band of Rochester Hills , Michigan .

history

I Prevail was founded in Rochester Hills in October 2013 and consists of singers Brian Burkheiser and Eric Vanlerberghe, guitarist Steve Menoian, and drummer Lee Runestad. Jordan Berger, the rhythm guitarist , left the band in early 2015. As a result, the group took on guitarist Dylan Bowman and bassist Tony Camposeo as tour musicians.

Her self-released debut - EP Heart vs. Mind sold around 6,000 times within the first week of its release, which allowed this EP to enter the national album charts at # 88 . The cover version of Blank Space by Taylor Swift reached a total of 36,000 units in digital sales, which allowed the song to enter the Hot Rock chart at number 9 . 15,000 units of the EP have since been sold. Between March 18, 2015 and April 30, 2015, the band toured the United States with Chasing Safety . A tour of Canada followed in May and June 2015 as the opening act for Amaranthe . The group completed their first headlining tour between July 9th and August 22nd, 2015. This was called the Crossroads Tour and was accompanied by Dayseeker and Dangerkids , among others . On July 27, 2015, it was announced that the band would tour the United States and Canada with Crown the Empire to support Hollywood Undead between September 8 and October 22, 2015 .

On March 25, 2015, the group was signed by Fearless Records . On June 20, 2016, the first single from the debut album, called Lifelines , was announced for July 1, 2016. The album itself should be released on October 20, 2016.

An extended North American tour with My Enemy & I and The White Noise followed between July 14 and August 27, 2016 . Immediately afterwards the band could be seen in the opening act for Neck Deep and Pierce the Veil . Between February 12 and March 8, 2017, the band toured the United States with Wage War and Assuming We Survive .

At the end of February 2019, the band announced their second album Trauma for March 29 of the same year and released two new singles with Bow Down and Breaking Down . The musicians worked on the album for a total of ten months in 2018, which was not least due to an injury to the singer Brian Burkheiser. The album was produced by Tyler Smith . In summer 2019 I Prevail performed for the first time at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park .

Music genre

The band claims to be musically influenced by groups like We Came as Romans , Bring Me the Horizon and A Day to Remember .
