Christer "Chris" Björin (* 1947 in Sweden ) is a professional Swedish poker player . He is two-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

At the 50th edition of the World Series of Poker , Björin was named as one of the 50 best players in poker history in June 2019 .

Poker career

Career

Björin has played regularly in the World Series of Poker since the early 1990s and has so far won two bracelets . At the WSOP main event in 1992 , 1997 , 2001 , 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 and 2015 , he made the prize money. At the 2007 WSOP , he was able to occupy three final tables. He has not yet reached a final table in his participation in the World Poker Tour . In the first season of the Professional Poker Tour , he made it to the final table in one tournament. In 2006 alone, he won over $ 330,000 in senior tournaments .

In total, Björin has earned more than 5.5 million dollars with poker in live tournaments, making him the second most successful Swedish poker player behind Martin Jacobson .
