Christopher Rojik (born September 5, 1974 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is a retired American basketball player . The 2 m tall and 100 kg heavy power forward was most recently under contract with the Skyliners Frankfurt in the ProB.

Career

He received his athletic training at Holy Cross University in Massachusetts. Then his path led him to Rhöndorf, where he played for the second team in the regional league from 1998 to 2000. This was followed by the move to NOMA Iserlohn , where he matured into a leading player in the second division team. In 2003 he moved to Rhöndorf again. At the end of the 2008/2009 season, Chris Rojik was voted the best player in the league by coaches and journalists. He was named MVP on the last day of the match. For the 2009/2010 season, Rojik also took on the post of assistant coach at Soba Dragons Rhöndorf after Eric Detlev was promoted to head coach.

In June 2010 Rojik announced his departure from Rhöndorf. He signed a contract with the Deutsche Bank Skyliners . There he ran on in the team of the ProB team. In addition, he became head coach of the Eintracht Frankfurt basketball team in the 1st regional league.

June 2011 Rojik announced that he would end his active career. He asked the Skyliners and Eintracht Frankfurt to terminate his contract. Rojik returned to the United States with his family.
