Christian Derflinger (born February 2, 1994 in Linz ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Derflinger began his career in the youth of LASK Linz and ASKÖ Pasching . In 2003 he returned to Linz, from where he joined the youth team of FC Bayern Munich in 2008 at the age of 14 for a transfer fee of 280,000 euros .

In 2012 he was promoted to Bayern Munich's second team in the Regionalliga Bayern . There he completed 25 games within two seasons and scored three goals. He also prepared seven goals.

For the 2014/15 season Derflinger moved to the second team of Hamburger SV free of charge . On matchday 1 he played the first game in the 4-0 win against Goslarer SC 08 . A week later he scored his first goal in a 3-0 win against Eintracht Norderstedt .

For the 2015/16 season Derflinger returned to his home country and joined the Bundesliga club SV Grödig . He received a two-year contract until June 30, 2017 with an option for another season. There he made his competitive debut in a 2-1 win against SCR Altach on the first day of the match, when he was substituted on in the second half.

After Grödig retired from professional football, Derflinger left the club in summer 2016.

In September 2016 he moved back to Germany for the U23 of SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the fourth-class Bavarian regional league , where he received a contract that was valid until June 2017. In the spring of 2017, he came to two appearances for the Fürth professionals in the 2nd Bundesliga . He then continued to work for the Fürth regional league team until summer 2018, before moving to the Regionalliga West at Viktoria Köln . With Viktoria Köln Derflinger became champions of the regional league and rose to the third division, but did not receive a new contract afterwards.

The midfielder remained in the regional league for the 2019/20 season and signed a contract with SV Rödinghausen that was valid for two seasons .

National team

For the Austrian U16 national team, he played five games and scored two goals. For the U17 he played seven games with four goals. In the U18 he played two games and in the U19 he scored one goal in his only game. In 2015 he made two appearances for the U21s .
