Christian Lukes (born July 28, 1969 in Wertingen , Bavaria ) is a former German ice hockey player who played in the ice hockey Bundesliga for ESV Kaufbeuren and EC Hedos Munich as well as in the DEL for Maddogs Munich , Adler Mannheim and Augsburg Panthers played.

Player career

The 1.81 m tall defender began his career in the youth of ESV Kaufbeuren, the right-handed shooter played the first game for the ESV professional team in the Bundesliga season 1988/89 , in 1993 he switched to league competitor EC Hedos from Munich, with whom he was in the same Year he became German champion and he played for their team even after the DEL was founded. After the Maddogs withdrew from the game during the current season, Lukes finally moved to Mannheim.

Lukes was on the ice for the Adler for over six years and won the German championship four times. Even today, he is fourth in the club's all-time ranking with 349 games. In 2001 , Lukes moved to the Augsburg Panthers , where he ended his career after the 2003/04 season.
