society
Although Noboa was born in Guayaquil , he started his career in the youth of CD El Nacional from Quito . At the age of 15, however, he moved home and he moved to the youth of his home club CS Emelec . In 2004 he was accepted into the professional squad and made his professional debut in the league game against El Nacional.
There followed three seasons with Emelec in which he could not win a title, but rose himself to one of the greatest midfield talents in his country. After the runner-up title in 2006 with Emelec, he then accepted a contract offer from the Russian first division club Rubin Kazan . Previously, the Portuguese top clubs FC Porto and Sporting Lisbon had also expressed their interest in the player.
After a mixed first season in Russia, in which he had to struggle with some adjustment problems in the new league, he made his breakthrough in the 2008 season. With Noboa as a dangerous goal driver in midfield, Kazan celebrated the first championship title in the club's history. After the disappointing fifth place in the table in the previous season, the championship title was not to be expected and a corresponding surprise. In 2009 they were once again the measure of all things in the Russian Premier League and won the title for the second time. You are also in the group stage of the Champions League . On October 20, 2009 he was also in the 1: 2 away win of Kazan against FC Barcelona over 90 minutes. Noboa is considered an indispensable player in midfield who can occupy any position. After a few inquiries from various European clubs, the club declared it to be "not for sale".
In January 2012 Rubin Kazan announced that Noboa would be sold to league rivals Dynamo Moscow .
National team
In 2006 Noboa made his debut in a number of unofficial internationals against Spanish regional selections, such as the national team of Catalonia . As a result, however, he was ignored by the then national team coach Luis Fernando Suárez , despite good performances in Russia.
It was not until 2009 that he made his debut under coach Sixto Vizuete in an official international match for Ecuador . As a result, he developed into one of the most important players on his team while qualifying for the 2010 World Cup . At the end of the series, one point behind Uruguay, they narrowly missed promotion to the Barrage games.
