Christian Jerk
Christian Ruck (born December 24, 1954 in Augsburg ) is a German politician ( CSU ). From 2002 to 2013 he was chairman of the working group on economic cooperation and development of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group.
Life and work
After high school at school at St. Stephen in Augsburg made jerk first military service and then graduated in economics at the University of Augsburg , the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the Sorbonne in Paris , which he as a graduate -Ökonom and the Diplôme Supérieur d'Université de la Planification. In 1990 he received his doctorate as Dr. rer. pole. at the University of Augsburg with the thesis "The economic effects of national parks in developing countries" . He then worked as a government councilor in the transport planning department of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Transport.
Christian Ruck is married and has four daughters.
Political party
Ruck joined the CSU and the Junge Union (JU) in 1974 and was chairman of the CSU district association in Augsburg from 2009 to 2011.
MP
Ruck was a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 2013 and from October 2002 to November 2009 chaired the working group on economic cooperation and development of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group . From December 2005 to November 2009 he was also deputy chairman of the CSU regional group .
From November 2009 to 2013 Ruck was deputy chairman of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group and responsible for the areas of economic cooperation, development, the environment, nature conservation and reactor safety.
Christian Ruck has always entered the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the Augsburg-Stadt constituency .
In the 2002 Bundestag election , he received 53.6% of the first votes . In the 2005 Bundestag election , he received 49.2% of the first votes . In the 2009 Bundestag election , he received 42.2% of the first votes . Ruck did not run again for the 2013 federal election because he took over the management of a national park project in the Congo Basin .
