Christian Schult

Christian Schult (born February 3, 1954 ) is a German film actor and voice actor .

Career

Schult was born as the son of Rolf Schult . He completed his acting training at the Fritz-Kirchhoff-Acting School in Berlin before becoming a speaker. Before that he lived with his family in Austria and was engaged at various theaters, including Innsbruck and Salzburg. After a certain time, the family moved to Munich because Rolf Schult wanted his son to complete an apprenticeship in Germany. After Schult lived in Germany again, he applied to various recording studios as a speaker. The Giesing team invited him to the casting and they were very enthusiastic about Schult's vocal similarity to his father. Since then he has mainly worked as a spokesperson for image films, documentaries and advertising.

Schult is best known as the German dubbing voice of Det. John Munch , played by Richard Belzer , in the US television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit . After the death of his father, Schult initially took on some of his roles, including Robert Redford in All Is Lost or Anthony Hopkins in Slipstream .

Schult lives in Munich.
