Christina von Ungern-Sternberg (* 1979 as Christina Prüver in Mainz ) is a German television presenter and journalist .

Career

Ungern-Sternberg 1998 at the universities studied until 2004 Leipzig , Padua and Munich the subjects German Literature , Political Science and Media Law . After her studies , she volunteered in the Bavarian state studio of Sat.1 and N24 in Munich and then worked there until 2007 as an editor, switch reporter and later as deputy head of the politics department . In 2007 she did her doctorate in literature at the Humboldt University in Berlin (dissertation: Willy Haas and the feature section of the daily newspaper Die Welt ). After moving to the N24 studio in Berlin, she took over the morning and noon reports there until 2010.

Since 2010 Christina von Ungern-Sternberg u. a. the daily updated live broadcasts of the television station Phoenix . From April to December 2012 she was also the main presenter of the ZDFwochen-journal alongside Ralph Szepanski . From July 2013 to April 2014, she hosted the newscast tonight regularly . From July 2015 to March 2018, she hosted the ZDF lunch magazine, alternating with Norbert Lehmann . She also moderates other broadcasts today .

Christina von Ungern-Sternberg is married to the journalist Christoph von Ungern-Sternberg .
