Christine Schwarz-Fuchs

Christine Schwarz-Fuchs (* 29. June 1974 in Bregenz as Christine Black ) is an Austrian entrepreneur and politician ( ÖVP ). Schwarz-Fuchs is a delegated member of the Austrian Federal Council from the state of Vorarlberg .

Professional background

After visiting the elementary school Lustenau-Kirchdorf and the lower level at Gymnasium on Bundesgymnasium Dornbirn graduated Christine Black Fox in 1993 at the Bundeshandelsakademie Lustenau . She then completed a degree in commercial science at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and during this time attended the Australian University of New England in Armidale as part of a semester abroad . In 2000, she was at the Vienna University for Master of Economics and Social Sciences ( Mag. Soc. Rer. Oec. ) Spondiert . She then worked for a year in Aviation Marketing Research at the US company Port of Portland , the operating company of Portland International Airport in Oregon . Schwarz-Fuchs gained further professional experience in Ireland , where she worked in Dublin, first at Craftprint and then at The Printed Image in costing and order preparation .

In 2000, Christine Schwarz-Fuchs Weg led her back to Vorarlberg , where she took over the HR and finance departments in her family's offset printing company, the Lustenau (BuLu) book printing company. In 2002 she was given the power of attorney at the Lustenau book printing company , and in 2003 she took over the management of the company.

Political career

In 2019 Christine Schwarz-Fuchs was first elected to the board of the ÖVP - Wirtschaftsbund Vorarlberg at the beginning of June . On July 1, 2019, she became the first woman to become Vice-President of the Vorarlberg Federation of Industrialists and a member of the board of IV Vorarlberg.

After Magnus Brunner became State Secretary in the Environment and Energy Ministry in January 2020, Christine Schwarz-Fuchs, who had previously been a substitute member of the Federal Council for him , took over. She was nominated as a new Federal Council member by the Vorarlberg People's Party and sworn in as a new Vorarlberg Federal Council member in the Federal Council meeting on 14 January 2020.
