Christoph Andreas Schlueter

Christoph Andreas Schlüter (also: Christophorus Andreas Schlüter and Christophe-André Schlutter as well as Christophe André Schlutter ; * 1668 in Goslar ; † 1743 ibid) was a German tithe , metallurgist , metalworking specialist and author .

Christoph Andreas Schlüter was born in Goslar in 1668 as the son of the Goslar "Hüttenreuter" Heinrich Zacharias Schlüter .

In 1702 he married Magdalena Elisabeth Trumph, daughter of the Goslar doctor and mayor Johann Georg Trumph and Lucia Margareta Trumph, and in the same year became Hüttenreuter am Rammelsberg . From 1709 he took on the duties of mountain clerk , from 1717 that of tithe counter clerk.

In the years from 1724 to 1743 Schlüter worked both as a tithe and as head of the mining office in Goslar.

In 1750 and 1753, Schlueter published the two volumes of his metallurgical-historical basic work Thorough teaching of hut works .
