Christoph Janacs

Christoph Janacs (born October 4, 1955 in Linz ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

Christoph Janacs studied German and theology at the Universities of Innsbruck and Salzburg . He worked as a lecturer at the University of Salzburg and as head of writing workshops . In 1992 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . Janacs lives today in Niederalm near Salzburg .

Christoph Janacs is the author of narrative prose , essays and especially poems; he also translates from English and Spanish .

Christoph Janacs is a member of the IG authors 'authors and the Graz authors' assembly . Some of his works were published in the St. Georgs-Presse by Ottmar Premstaller in St. Georgen an der Gusen .
