Christoph Möckli

Christoph Möckli (born August 22, 1977 in Diessenhofen ) is a Swiss motocross driver .

Career

Möckli drove his first race at the age of eight in Bernhardzell at the Swiss youth motocross club Schönenberg. Then he took part in the races of the FMS and contested the UEM European Championship. Only later did he drive in the SAM and its umbrella organization IMBA . In 2004 and 2005 he won the IMBA European championship and several times the SAM Swiss championship in motocross. From 2002 to 2009 he was a Red Bull athlete. Meanwhile he ran a motocross school (MX-Academy).

From 2010 to 2015 Möckli competes in international motocross races in the Middle East and is expanding the MX-Academy with the location in Dubai . Since 2016 he has been running an official Honda base, a motocross shop and looking after the Honda Motocross Team in Switzerland. Möckli has been teaching motocross for children in public schools since 2016.

From the end of 2019 Möckli will also take over the family business with gravel and concrete works and thus found a new AG - Möckli Beton AG.

Personal

Möckli grew up in Schlatt TG . He spent a year of high school in the United States after completing primary and secondary school . He then completed an apprenticeship as a construction machine mechanic at the Ammann Group in Langenthal .
