Christophe Zoa

Christophe Zoa (born June 10, 1961 in Yaoundé ) is Bishop of Sangmélima .

Life

The Archbishop of Yaoundé, Jean Zoa , ordained him a priest on June 15, 1991 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 30, 2006 auxiliary bishop in Yaoundé and titular bishop of Hilta .

The Archbishop of Yaoundé , Simon-Victor Tonyé Bakot , donated him episcopal ordination on February 3rd of the following year; Co- consecrators were Eliseo Antonio Ariotti , Apostolic Nuncio in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea , and Antoine Ntalou , Archbishop of Garoua .

He was appointed Bishop of Sangmélima on December 4, 2008, and was instituted on January 30 of the next year.
