Christopher

Christopher Lund Nissen (born January 31, 1992 in Frederiksberg ), stage name Christopher , is a Danish singer . His debut album Colors was released on March 19, 2012 with the record publisher EMI . Christopher grew up on Amager in Denmark.

Career

He became famous through connections from his father. Christopher himself says that his father knew someone who knew someone and suddenly he was sitting in the office of the bosses of the record company EMI and sang his half-finished songs. They liked his soft pop voice and signed him in mid-2012 to continue working with him. He wrote his first single, Against the Odds , with Kay & Ndustry, Kasper Larsen, Ole Brodersen, Curtis Richa and Johan Wetterberg. It was produced by Kay & Ndustry and GL Music's Lasse Lindorff and released in September 2011 where it reached number 23 in the Danish charts . Nicolas Tobias Følsgaard and Jonas Lodahl Andersen directed the accompanying music video. His second single in 2012, Nothing in Common , rose to number 5 in the Danish charts. His debut album, Colors , made it to number 4 in the album charts in March.

Personal

Christopher grew up on Amager with his parents Gert and Liselotte, as well as his little brother Oliver Nissen. For some time he was in a relationship with the model Mathilde Sofie. Later he was in a relationship with the Danish pop musician Medina , ten years his senior, with whom he had a house in Copenhagen. They separated in January 2014. He also had a brief affair with the Danish journalist Sofie Jørgensen, who produced a television program about him for Danish television. He has been in a relationship with the Danish model Cecilie Haugaard since summer 2014. The two have been married since June 1, 2019.
