The Chudossei ( Russian Худосей ) is a 409 km long right tributary of the Tas in the northeast of the West Siberian lowlands , in the Asian part of Russia .

The river flows from a swamp in the far east of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug , about 150 km southwest of Turukhansk as the crow flies , and after just 5 km in a north-easterly direction it reaches the border with the Krasnoyarsk Territory . In its further course, meandering in alternating western to northern directions , the Chudossei marks the border between the two subjects of the Federation for about 200 kilometers . It then flows through the Autonomous Okrug to its confluence with the Tas, about 10 km south (upstream) of the village and district administrative center of Krasnoselkup , maintaining the north-westerly direction . At the mouth of the river, up to 300 m wide, it forms two arms.

The catchment area of the Chudossei covers 11,200 km². Its main tributaries are the Limp-Pityl-Ky (Russian Лимп-Питыль-Кы , length 126 km) from the left and the Kasch-Ky ( Каш-Кы , 114 km) and Pokal-Ky ( Покаль-Кы , 113 km) from the right .

There are no villages in the entire catchment area of the river.
