The gmina wiejska Ciechanów [ ʨɛˈxanuf ] is an independent rural community in Poland in the powiat Ciechanów in the Masovian Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Ciechanów . The rural community, to which the city of Ciechanów itself does not belong, has an area of 140.2 km², on which (as of June 30, 2016) 6930 people live.
