The powiat Ciechanowski is a powiat (district) in the Polish Masovian Voivodeship . The powiat has an area of ​​1062.62 km² on which about 91,500 inhabitants live.

history

From 1939 to 1945 the district was called the district of Zichenau (Ciechanów) part of the new administrative district of Zichenau in the province of East Prussia .
