The powiat Płocki is a powiat (district) in the Polish Masovian Voivodeship . The powiat has an area of ​​1798.71 km², on which 105,493 inhabitants live. The population density is 59 inhabitants per 1 km² (2004).

history

From 1939 to 1945 the area was part of the new administrative district of Zichenau in the province of East Prussia as the district of Schröttersburg .
