Clément-Joseph Hannouche

Clément-Joseph Hannouche (born March 27, 1950 in Cairo ; † April 9, 2020 there ) was an Egyptian clergyman and Syrian Catholic bishop of Cairo .

Life

Clément-Joseph Hannouche received on 13 June 1976, the sacrament of holy orders and was in the clergy of the Syrian Catholic Eparchy of Cairo incardinated .

On June 24, 1995, Pope John Paul II appointed him bishop of the Syrian Catholic eparchy of Cairo. The Syrian Catholic Patriarch of Antioch , Ignatius Antoine II. Hayek , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19, 1996 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of the Archeparch of Homs , Basile Moussa Daoud , and the Auxiliary Bishop of the Syrian Catholic Archeparchy of Damascus , Gregorios Elias Tabé . Hannouche was also Protosingel (Protosyncellus = Vicar General) of Sudan and South Sudan.
