The Cléry ( called Clairis in the upper reaches ) is a river in France that runs through the regions of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Center-Val de Loire . It rises in the municipality of Égriselles-le-Bocage , drains in an arc from southwest over west to northwest and flows after 43 kilometers northeast of Nargis as a right tributary into the Loing , which is accompanied in this area by the Canal du Loing as a side canal . On its way, the Cléry crosses the Yonne and Loiret departments .
