Claude Meier

Claude Meier (born May 18, 1964 ), entitled to live in Bülach , is a Swiss professional officer ( division officer ).

Tasks within the Swiss Army

As Chief of the Army Staff of the Swiss Armed Forces, Major Meier is in charge of the most important corporate matters in the Defense Department and reports directly to the Chief of the Armed Forces . He is responsible for the operational implementation of the political and military strategic specifications and instructions. At the interface between the political-strategic and operational-tactical levels, he is responsible for the development, planning, resource allocation and control of the army. He is a member of the army command.
