Claudette Nevins

Claudette Nevins (* 10. April 1937 in Wilkes-Barre , Pennsylvania as Claudette Weintraub ; † 20th February 2020 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actress .

Life

Claudette Nevins grew up as the daughter of the businessman Joseph Weintraub and the textile worker Anna Lander, both of whom had previously immigrated from Austria , and was born in Wilkes-Barre. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York . She also completed an acting degree in New York City and successfully studied English at New York University . In the theater adaptation of the novel of the same name by John Hersey , The Wall , Nevins made her debut as a theater actress on Broadway in 1960 . Just one year later, she was seen on the screen in the role of Pam Albright in Julian Roffman's low-budget horror film The Devilish Mask . Since then, she has appeared in numerous theater productions in over 100 film and television productions, including television series such as M * A * S * H , Hart aber cordial and Ally McBeal, and films such as The Enemy in My Bed and Star Trek: The Uprising .

Nevins was married twice. She kept the family name Nevins from her first husband. The second marriage resulted in two daughters.
