Claudia Kolb (born December 19, 1949 in Hayward , California ) is a former American swimmer .

She made her first international appearance at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo , where she won the silver medal in the 200 m chest at the age of 14 . At the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 , she was the superior Olympic champion in the 200 m and 400 m medley . After these Olympic Games, she ended her career and became a swimming coach. In 1975 she was inducted into the international swimming pool 's hall of fame .
