Claudia Schlenger-Meilhamer

Claudia Schlenger-Meilhamer (* 1947 in Bad Tölz ) is a Bavarian cabaret artist , screenwriter and actress .

Life

After training as a medical-technical assistant , Schlenger first studied political science . She then took acting lessons in Munich . Between 1975 and 1977 she lived in Berlin to catch up on her Abitur.

Since 1993 she has been on stage with her husband Hanns Meilhamer , whom she met in 1974 and married in 1979, as the cabaret artist and comedian couple Herbert and Schnipsi , but overall they had worked together for television and Bavarian radio since 1984 . Their son Simon (* 1986) has played in some television productions since 1994, also there as their own son Pauli . They have lived in Passau since 1989 , before that in Munich.

In 2000 Schlenger fell ill after a tick bite and had to interrupt her job for a year, but recovered and returned to the stage.

Claudia Schlenger-Meilhamer's brother Michael (* 1961) is also an actor.
