Claudia Willger (born February 25, 1961 in Saarbrücken ) is a German politician of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party . From 2004 to 2012 she was a member of the Saarland state parliament .

After graduating from the Franco-German high school in Saarbrücken in 1980, Willger began studying law and political science. In 1986 she passed the first state examination in law. This was followed by a traineeship at the Higher Regional Court - Saarbrücken district (with an interruption due to parental leave from December 1987 to December 1988) and the second state examination in 1989. Also in 1989, Willger was admitted to the bar. Since then she has been self-employed in her own law firm. In a media-effective process about the disappearance of a five-year-old child in the Saarbrücken district of Burbach , known as the PascalAroused nationwide attention, she appeared in 2003-2008 as a representative of the underage witness Kevin in the secondary lawsuit.

Willger has been a member of the Greens since 1980. From 1982 to 1984 she was chairwoman of the Saarbrücken district association. Since 1996 she has been parliamentary leader in the City Council of Saarbrücken , which they already belonged from 1986 to 1989.

From 2002 to 2016 she was state chairman alongside Hubert Ulrich . In 2004 she moved into the Saarland state parliament and since then has been the deputy chairman of the green parliamentary group . On August 29, 2007 she was appointed second secretary by the state parliament after the previous incumbent Barbara Spaniol had resigned from her parliamentary group.

On March 17, 2011, Willger was elected mayor candidate in Saarbrücken. The election took place on October 23, 2011. It reached approx. 7% of the votes and was behind Peter Strobel from the CDU (25%) but still ahead of Friedhelm Fiedler from the FDP, who received 6% of the votes.

She ran again in the state elections in Saarland in 2012 , but failed to make it into parliament with fourth place on the list.

Claudia Willger is Roman Catholic . She is divorced and has two children.
