Claudio Silvero Acosta
Claudio Silvero Acosta SCI di Béth (born October 30, 1935 in Iturbe ) is a Paraguayan clergyman and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Encarnación .
Life
Claudio Silvero Acosta joined the religious order of Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and was ordained a priest on December 16, 1962 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on March 15, 1976 Bishop of Coronel Oviedo . The Apostolic Nuncio in Paraguay , Joseph Mees , donated him episcopal ordination on May 1 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Ismael Blas Rolón Silvero SDB , Archbishop in Asunción , and Jerome Arthur Pechillo TOR , Auxiliary Bishop in Newark .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Auxiliary Bishop in Encarnación and Titular Bishop of Curubis on March 26, 1998 .
On November 15, 2014, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
